Combo Devils is built around the speed and freedom of platform fighters while keeping the depth of traditional 2D fighting games. Learn movement, attack ranges, and simple confirmed combos first, then layer on longer routes, aerial follow-ups, and platform-specific positioning.

1

Learn the Hybrid Fighting Style

Combo Devils blends two fighting-game styles. Platform layouts make movement and positioning a constant factor, while direct attacks, special moves, and combo routing reward classic fighting-game fundamentals.

2

Practice Movement Before Combos

Spend your first matches learning how quickly your fighter moves on the ground, through the air, and around platforms. Consistent positioning beats a long combo you can rarely land.

3

Identify Your Reliable Attacks

Learn which basic attacks are comfortable up close, which ones cover space in front of you, and which moves naturally start a follow-up. These become the foundation of your early game plan.

4

Build Short Confirmed Combos

Start with two- or three-hit routes you can land every time after an opening hit. Once they are automatic, extend them with movement, aerials, specials, and character-specific options.

5

Use Platforms as Part of Combat

Platforms are not scenery. They change approach angles, escape routes, landing spots, and combo opportunities, so practice fighting both on the main floor and around elevated sections.

6

Study One Character at a Time

Pick one fighter and learn their normals, specials, movement options, and reliable starters before jumping between the roster. Depth on one character transfers faster than surface knowledge on many.

Quick Tips

  • Warm up with short confirmed routes before sessioning long combo extensions.
  • Watch the opponent, not your own character, when defending pressure.
  • Treat every platform as both an escape route and an attack angle.
  • A simple game plan executed consistently wins more sets than a flashy one dropped under pressure.

Combo Devils handles extra content through game access, testing invitations, and supporter campaigns rather than universal redeem codes. Each card below explains how one of these systems works and what players can expect from it.

Public Reward Codes

No Active Public Codes

There are currently no public redeem codes for currency, characters, or cosmetics. Any future code drops will be announced through official channels and tracked here.

Playtest Access

Access Credentials

Testing invitations unlock specific builds during announced test windows. They are personal access credentials for joining a build, not reusable reward codes.

Supporter Rewards

Backer Fulfillment

Kickstarter and supporter rewards are delivered through each campaign's fulfillment process, tied directly to the campaign tier a backer chose.

Combo Devils is designed around character-specific movement, attacks, combo routes, and platform interactions. Rankings on this page weigh neutral control, conversion potential, consistency, and execution difficulty, and they grow alongside the competitive scene.

Combo Devils combines traditional fighting-game mechanics with platform-fighter movement and stage positioning. Strong play comes from linking grounded attacks into launches, chasing opponents into the air, defending with sharp timing, and using platforms to extend pressure or escape bad situations.

Alongside its competitive fighting, Combo Devils includes a cooperative roguelite experience. Instead of facing a single opponent, your team works through successive combat encounters, adapts between runs, and uses the game's movement and combo mechanics together.

1

Form a Co-op Group

Enter the cooperative mode as a team rather than a head-to-head match. Agree on basic roles: who starts engagements, who follows launched enemies, and who covers teammates.

2

Start the Roguelite Run

Begin a run built around successive combat encounters. The goal is continued progression through the mode, not winning one isolated versus match.

3

Fight as a Team

Coordinate attacks instead of everyone chasing the same target. One player starts pressure or launches an enemy while another positions for the follow-up or intercepts a second threat.

4

Use Platform Movement Together

Platforms and aerial movement matter just as much in co-op. Use different elevations to approach enemies, avoid stacking on the same spot, and keep control of the encounter space.

5

Adapt During the Run

Roguelite progression rewards adapting between encounters. Adjust how aggressively the group plays, which enemies get prioritized, and how teammates position based on what is causing trouble in the current run.

6

Protect Vulnerable Teammates

Do not abandon the group to extend a personal combo. Breaking pressure on a teammate or containing a dangerous enemy is worth more than one extra damage sequence.

7

Push Deeper Into the Run

As the run continues, consistency and team survival come first. Reliable combos, controlled positioning, and coordinated target selection matter most when a single mistake can derail the group.

8

Repeat and Improve

The roguelite structure is built around repeated attempts. Carry what you learned about execution, coordination, and route decisions into the next run and push further each time.
